Another option available with film materials is custom shrink sleeve labels, which are printed on Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) or Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol-modified (PETG) film. Commonly referred to as “shrink sleeves,” these unique labels wrap all the way around a container for 360-degree graphics coverage creating an eye-catching look. Benefits of shrink sleeve labels include: shelf-appeal, graphics from head to toe, moisture and abrasion-resistant, fits most container types and sizes.
If you’re looking for something a little more exotic, another option for printing film labels is cold foil stamping. To do so, we apply the holographic foil onto a clear film, covering only the areas you specify. This gives you the option to use holographic material all over, in patterns, or to accent special graphics.
In short, a benefit of cold foil is it offers more design opportunities, however, the process can increase your cost per label and may require extra lead time if we don’t happen to have the particular foil you want in our inventory.
