Tips For Printing Black On Labels [Video]

Why Printing Black On Labels Can Be Tricky

Black is just black, right? Not exactly – there are a variety of shades of black like cool black and warm black. While black ink is an important part of ‘4 color process‘ printing (CMYK = cyan, magenta, yellow, and ‘key’ black), only using black ink to print large areas of a label won’t be enough to achieve the right shade of black. In our video, we’ll explain what you need to know about printing black on labels, spot colors, and how we achieve accurate and consistent color printing standards.
