Consolidated Label Receives ISO 9001:2008 Certification for Second Consecutive Year

Consolidated Label Company, a leading manufacturer of custom labels in the United States, has attained the ISO 9001:2008 certification for quality management systems for a second consecutive year.

Accepted worldwide as the standard that defines quality, the ISO 9001:2008 is awarded to companies that demonstrate a continual commitment to its quality management systems. The certification shows the public that the organization’s quality management system can consistently provide a product or service that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements.

“Achieving the ISO 9001:2008 certification for a second year reflects the ongoing efforts from our company to ensure that our processes and products are documented and tested to the highest standard,” said Joel Carmany, president of Consolidated Label. “We are strongly committed to achieving superior product quality and reliability so our customers can have the best overall experience possible.”

Consolidated Label’s quality management system was assessed by Professional Quality Assessments International (PQA), the same certification body that assessed and awarded the company last year. The audits were conducted in February 2013 and the certification was subsequently received in March 2013.

“Although our company has been through the certification process before, our repeated success was the result of many months of preparation with trainers to ensure our employees comply with the standards,” Carmany added. Carmany also noted that the ISO 9001:2008 certification will provide more continuity and consistency to Consolidated Label’s quality managements systems as the organization continues to grow.
