Should I add a UV coating or laminate finish to my labels?

UV coated labels are when we apply a varnish (liquid-based) to labels that are then cured by a UV light. We also offer spot UV coating where we only apply the varnish to parts of the label.
Laminates are a material that covers the label and are a thicker finish than UV coating. This provides additional protection against abrasion since the finish cannot simply be scratched off of the label.
Adding either type of finish provides an extra measure of protection for the label’s inks.
